About CalcRef
A calculus formula reference for students in a first course and anyone brushing up: the statement of each result, the conditions under which it holds, and a worked example.
What is here
136 formulas across 8 topics, from limits through series to parametric and polar curves, and 14 guides on the choices a calculus course keeps asking you to make: which integration technique fits, which convergence test to try first, where the chain rule goes missing. Every formula page, topic page and reference table is free with no account, as are the unit converter, the expression evaluator and a daily ten-question quiz. Premium adds the remaining worked solutions, quizzes on topics you choose, the detailed progress breakdown and printable formula sheets.
Where it comes from
The formulas, their conditions and the guides are the site's own write-up of standard results; no textbook or outside dataset is cited. Each guide's procedure is the one its own worked examples follow, so the steps and the example can be compared side by side.
Who runs it
CalcRef is built and run by one independent developer, with no textbook publisher, university or tutoring company behind it. The same developer has a few other single-subject references, among them PhysRef, StatRise, Discretica and Trigonify, and owning them does not make any one of them more right.
A guide here is signed CalcRef rather than by a person, so there is no individual byline, and its structured data records the site's organization as the author. No teaching post or academic credential is claimed.
What a formula sheet cannot do
Knowing that the ratio test exists is not the same as recognising when a series wants it. CalcRef will remind you of a result and show it once; it will not mark your working, and it does not follow your course's notation or your instructor's conventions. Where those differ from this site, follow your course.

A wrong formula or a missing condition is worth reporting. Send [email protected] the page and the result you expected.
